All Star tryouts will be held at the following dates & times**:
9 & 10 year old players:
Wednesday, May 24, 6pm, at Caldwell Park
11 & 12 year old players:
Thursday, June 1, 6pm, at Amanda’s Field
Players 8 years old & under:

All Star team commitment:
Players rostered on an all star team are expected to make a full commitment to that team. Players unable to make a full commitment to an all star team due to vacation plans, commitments to other teams, or commitments to other sports cannot be offered a position on an all star team roster. Please discuss any conflicts with an all star coach or a member of the baseball board before trying out and accepting a roster spot.
All Star teams anticipate the following schedules:
11 & 12 year old Little League team: one local weekend tournament, followed by evening Little League tournament games 2-4 nights per week. In addition, practices will occur at the coach’s discretion. The team will keep playing as long as it keeps winning. The team may play well into July, possibly longer.
9 & 10 year old Little League team: one local weekend tournament, followed by evening Little League tournament games 2-4 nights per week. In addition, practices will occur at the coach’s discretion. 8U all star team: two local weekend tournaments. In addition, practices will occur at the coach’s discretion.
All Star fee: $100 per player, due when a roster position is offered to a player.
All Star coach selection process:
Any regular season coach interested in being an all star head coach or assistant coach must notify the Upper Township Baseball board, and must indicate which team they are interested in coaching. The board will select a head coach for each team, by way of a vote. The head coach will then select assistant coaches. Assistant coach selections must be approved by the board, by way of a vote. All coaches must be currently certified by Upper Township, and able to fully commit to the all star season. Interested coaches should reply to this email by Friday, May 19.
